"Stand By Me" by Debbie Oppermann. The song, Stand By Me, by Ben E King, came to mind when I saw the tiny fawn standing so close to the mother. The Doe was grazing in the meadow in rural Brantford Ontario Canada while the Fawn was nursing and then frolicking in the grass.
