Description
While I was on a weekend fishing trip up to North Shoal lake, Manitoba I was extremely excited to see so many different birds in this habitat. One that caught my eye was this photo of the American White pelicans . It was an awe struck moment for me and I ended up getting more caught up in my camera then I did the fishing. conspicuous birds are colonial breeders, with up to 5,000 pairs per site. The birds arrive on the breeding grounds in March or April; nesting starts in early april to June.
